A Shamans' work is to bring balance to the community and to the environment she lives within. It is vital that people and place live in reciprocity and respect, in mutual support and harmony. When this balance is upset by our greed, anger or thoughtlessness, then our land and we ourselves become ill. All the native cultures of this planet Earth have their spiritual roots in shamanic practices. Shamanism is returning to our communities as a natural response to the prevailing imbalances we are experiencing in these troubled times.
